Two educational programs of NSTU receive European engineering accreditation

Two bachelor's educational programs of Novosibirsk State Technical University are included in the register of accredited programs of the Association of Engineering Education of Russia and in the register of the European Network for Accreditation in Engineering Education (ENAEE). Only bachelor's programs of Tomsk Polytechnic University were accredited in Russia before.
NSTU received the certificates of the Association of Engineering Education of Russia for the undergoing of professional public accreditation and the certificates of the European Network for Accreditation in Engineering Education (ENAEE) for the assignment of the "European Quality Mark" (EUR-ACE Label). Prestigious professional and public accreditation was carried out by two educational programs: a bachelor's program "Material Science and Materials Technology", implemented at Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of NSTU, and the educational program for bachelors in area of "Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering", implemented at Power Engineering Department of the NSTU.
NSTU became the second higher education institution in Russia which received European accreditation in the areas of bachelor's training "Material Science and Materials Technology" and "Power Engineering". Also, NSTU is the only Novosibirsk university that possesses European accreditation in these and other areas of training. European accreditation is also provided by the NSTU program "Laser Systems in Science and Engineering".
Accreditation will help NSTU graduates while working for large multinational corporations, as well as for foreign companies.
