Researchers of NSTU suggest to build a system of distributed power generation in Novosibirsk region

On April 5-6, 2018 in Novosibirsk, the III International Forum "Urban Technologies 2018" was held, attended by staff, graduate and undergraduate students of Novosibirsk State Technical University. 
The widest representation of NSTU was on the track "Innovative Energy", prepared and implemented within the framework of the strategic project "NSTU as a driver of innovative development of power engineering and electrical industry in the region" of the development program of the regional flagship university. Speakers and experts of NSTU identified the main problems of the development of small distributed generation and proposed technical solutions for the integration of small distributed generation objects when they are connected to an external network.
The forum was organized by the Administration of Novosibirsk. According to organizers, the forum was attended by more than 3000 visitors, 280 speakers and experts, representatives of more than 20 cities, the exhibition had more than 350 exhibit items.
Within the framework of the forum, several tracks were organized: Security in City, Live Cities, Digital Economy, Innovative Energy, Urban Development: Technologies and Solutions, Public Health, Housing and Utilities and the Smart Home, Regulation of traffic flows / road construction , Blokchain - in the service of urban technology ,Green City. Ecology. Accomplishment , Project management and implementation of technology in the urban economy, Green City. City-farming. Employees, post-graduate and undergraduate students of NSTU took part in most of these tracks as speakers, experts and listeners.
As a result of the forum work, a proposal for NSTU, NSU and IT SB RAS was made to review and implement in practice non-traditional teaching technologies for the joint use of laboratory facilities for comprehensive training of specialists in the field of Innovative Energy.
