NSTU enters THE Young University Ranking 2018: Golden Age

Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) enters the ranking of the best universities in the world, established after 1945. The ranking of the best young universities on June 6 was published by the world's leading magazine on higher education, Times Higher Education (THE).
NSTU joined the group of universities on places 151-200 and it is in the same category as Kyoto University of Technology, University of Western Paris, Oakland University (USA), etc. In the same group the majority of universities are from big cities of Japan. NSTU enters Golden Age Ranking for the first time.
In addition, NSTU has the same position in the absolute ranking of the world best universities, which was published on June 6 by another authoritative researcher, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). Like the previous year, NSTU has place 801-1000. In total, 27 universities from Russia were scored in the ranking.
These days NSTU has also entered the national university rankings, being rated 31st in the RAEX ranking and 35th in Interfax ranking.
