It is worth noting that this year, in addition to a huge increase in the number of applicants and Olympiads, NSTU-NETI has significantly increased passing scores for technical specialties, which has led to an increase in the average USE score for applicants to the budget. For example, at the Faculty of Physics and Technology in the field of Photonics and Optoinformatics, the passing score increased by 58 points compared to last year. Among the technical faculties, the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering is the leader in passing scores: 266 points were required for admission to study in the field of Software Engineering. There are high passing scores in other faculties of the university. Thus, the passing score at the Faculty of Energy is 233 points in the direction of "Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering", at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology - 249 points (direction "Chemical Technology").
The highest passing scores in non—technical majors are in Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Economics at the Faculty of Business (280 points).
This year, more than 75% of applicants have applied through the EPSU (Public Services). However, for the convenience of applicants, the university has retained other ways of applying: through a personal account and face-to-face at the university.
First-year students enrolled on a budget will receive a basic academic scholarship of 5,466 rubles. In addition, NSTU-NETI provides increased scholarships to certain categories of first-year students, as well as winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the school Olympiads or All-Russian Olympiads.
Upon graduation, all students of NSTU-NETI can receive several diplomas absolutely free of charge, for example, an IT diploma within the framework of Digital departments, as well as a working profession, etc.
