Students of Novosibirsk State Technical University (NETI) are working on the project "Quiet corner" for lovers of relaxing time. The application will allow you to choose a place to work, study and relax away from the noise of the city.
According to Dmitry Zubkov, a first-year student at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering at NSTU-NETI, the service will allow citizens to choose a quiet place to work and relax. Users will only need to select a suitable location from the list and book it for a specific date and time. "In the early stages of the project launch, a small percentage will be charged for reservations, and in the future, paid subscriptions will be provided," Dmitry Zubkov said.
According to the developers, the application will help determine the location — it implies an individual selection of the optimal location according to a number of criteria: noise level, accessibility and passability. You will be able to select a location based on the latest ratings and user reviews.
The mobile application is currently being finalized. At the same time, the developers are considering a scaling strategy for the project. "We plan to first cooperate with institutions located near universities, because students are more interested than anyone in finding quiet places to study and work. After that, we will expand the geography of quiet urban locations," Dmitry Zubkov said.
As a result, according to the developers, a single digital ecosystem should be created. "We are integrating all locations into an ecosystem: our accounts will be registered on available platforms and partner sites, in turn, users will have to register only on our platform. This way, they will be able to book seats even in those establishments that do not have their own recording resources," the developers said.
At the same time, another team of NSTU-NETI students is working on the Eventra mobile application, which will collect all city events on one interactive map, which will make it easier to find events for those who want to take part in them.
