Employees of the student design bureau of Radio and Microelectronics JSC, consisting of students of the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NETI), improved their development — an automated high-voltage stand for calibration and verification of measuring equipment. The equipment has received a compact appearance and has become more convenient than world analogues.
RiM JSC and NSTU-NETI have developed and improved an automated high-voltage stand for calibration and verification of measuring equipment. The installation consists of two server racks for management and switching, connected by special integrated connectors for easy transportation.
Initially, the equipment for testing high-voltage sensors was conceived with less functionality. According to the chief developer Igor Karpov, the device was intended only to work with a combined current and voltage sensor, which was also made by employees of RiM JSC. "In the process, we realized that we could get a universal device with great potential — one of the first and best in this field. We added functionality related to calibration and verification scenarios for current and voltage sensors, added the ability to calibrate and verify high-voltage electricity meters. In the hardware part, we have unified and structured the assembly and maintenance of both the stand itself and the devices in its composition, expanded the functionality of the protections and made it more convenient to use, "he said.

In addition, the updated version of the stand has the opportunity to fix devices with their own buses, without losing the efficiency of the current circuit, and work with digital electricity meters.
Another advantage of the stand is its efficiency. If earlier the metrology of high-voltage sensors and electrical installations in production took about an hour and a half, the development of JSC "RiM" and NSTU-NETI, which combines 20 different devices, allows you to do this in a matter of minutes. "All this hardware and software complex allows us to automatically set the current up to 30,000 A and voltage up to 12,000 V, which is very high for such devices," said Igor Karpov.
The developers do not plan to stop at the achieved results. In the SKB, work continues on debugging and increasing the assembly speed. In the future, it is planned to supply a high-voltage stand for calibration of measuring equipment to companies developing high-voltage devices.
Earlier, SKB JSC "RiM" and NSTU-NETI developed software to optimize the process of data collection and transmission in the monitoring systems of power facilities. The program is designed to work on industrial routers. Its main advantages are that all elements of the system are connected to a single router-controller, which transmits data in a convenient form for monitoring, provides sorting flexibility and the ability to process an infinite number of signals.
