Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) has developed and registered software for automating the activities of a gas distribution organization. The development covers accounting for gasified capital construction facilities, contractual work, all stages of gasification and maintenance.
Employees of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of NSTU-NETI have created software for automating the activities of a gas distribution organization. It is designed for complex automation of processes in gas distribution organizations, takes into account gasified capital construction facilities, contractual work, all stages of gasification, maintenance, claims activities, and also provides integration with geographic information systems, in particular, with GIS Zulu.
According to Oleg Avrunev, director of the University's Informatization Center and head of the Digital Development Department at NSTU-NETI, the software consists of more than 20 specialized registries, including organizations, households, contracts for gasification and maintenance of indoor gas equipment, gas distribution system facilities, applications for technical specifications and project approval, repairs and replacement of indoor gas equipment.
The software developed at NSTU-NETI differs from its existing counterparts in its seamless integration of attribute information. "The key feature that distinguishes our development from its analogues is the seamless integration of attribute information and relationships with linear, point and area map objects, implemented at the database level," Oleg Avrunev emphasized.
It should be recalled that scientists at NSTU-NETI continue to work on a digital workplace for users of supercomputing centers for collective use within the framework of the Priority 2030 program. Currently, three projects have been launched that will improve the infrastructure and expand the capabilities of researchers.
