As part of the XII International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2025, Novosibirsk State Technical University (NETI) and the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Novosibirsk Region signed an agreement of intent to support and develop the Trusted Information Technologies consortium in order to combine the efforts of educational and scientific organizations, industry companies and authorities in the direction of digital transformation. and information security of the region.
On August 28, Anatoly Bataev, Rector of NSTU-NETI, and Sergey Tsukar, Minister of the Ministry of Finance, signed an agreement on their intention to support and develop the Trusted Information Technologies consortium, which currently includes NSTU-NETI, IVMiMG SB RAS, and SSUGiT. The next step will be to join the consortium of new participants (educational and scientific organizations, industry companies) to achieve full coverage of the region. The purpose of concluding this agreement is to cooperate in the further formation, development and achievement of the consortium's goals through actions to implement organizational, informational, educational, and consulting measures by the parties.
As part of the agreement, NSTU-NETI and the Ministry of Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Novosibirsk region will continue to cooperate on the implementation of measures in the field of information security and IT. We are talking about the examination of educational programs; using the best Russian and international practices; organizing events for schoolchildren and students; shaping the scientific and technological demand of the industry in the region; transferring research results, facilitating the launch of domestic solutions on the market; forming an expert council with the participation of independent experts, representatives of universities, scientific institutes, industry companies and authorities; organization of public platforms for the exchange of experience, the annual publication of analytical reports.
NSTU-NETI has been cooperating with the Ministry of Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the region for a long time, the result of close cooperation is a number of projects aimed at supporting and developing IT education. Earlier, the University, the Ministry and the Russian developer of the information security solutions ecosystem, UserGate, signed a trilateral cooperation agreement on the implementation of import substitution programs for information technologies aimed at the socio-economic development of the Novosibirsk region. The signing took place as part of the opening of the UserGate specialized educational and research laboratory on the basis of the Department of Information Security at NSTU-NETI. Cooperation has also been established with the leading domestic developer of telecommunications equipment, Eltex. Thus, thanks to cooperation with the company, two network technology laboratories have been opened at NSTU-NETI, where students will learn how to design computer networks, configure network equipment, and create digital telephony systems.
