On February 14-18, the NSTU NETI delegation consisting of the vice-rector for research S. V. Brovanov and the head of the Institute of Power Electronics (IPE) S. A. Kharitonov visited the Belarusian State Technological University in Minsk. The participants of the meeting discussed the current state of cooperation between the two universities and promising areas of joint activity. At the end of the meeting they signed the protocol on the development of educational, scientific and technical cooperation between BSTU and NSTU NETI for 2022.
In particular, the areas of common interests and joint activities are defined as follows:
- Implementation of a project to create electric energy storage systems (ESS) adjusted to energy consumption model of Belarusian industrial enterprises. OAO Belkhudozhkeramika and OAO Keramin, industrial enterprises of Belarus are the pilot project participants involved in cooperation with the universities.
- Creation of hybrid microcircuits production in NSTU NETI
- Preparation and submission of joint project applications to grant-making organizations in Russia and Belarus
- Expansion of academic mobility programs for students and faculty, joint summer schools, research conferences, exchange of textbooks and monographs, etc.
Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI and Belarusian State Technical University have been cooperating since 2016. The focus of 2022 is research and technology integration, as well as educational cooperation.
