The 4th season of the student Olympiad "I am a professional" was held during the spring semester of 2020/21.
"I am a professional" is a large-scale educational Olympiad of a new format for students majoring in technology, humanities, natural sciences, pedagogy, agriculture and medicine. The tasks for the participants come from the leading Russian universities experts and the largest companies in the country. It is not abstract erudition that is being tested, but professional knowledge. The best participants receive cash prizes, benefits for admission to master's or postgraduate studies, and achievements to impress potential employers.
Many NSTU NETI students taking part in the Olympiad made it to the qualifying stage. So, in the final stage of the Olympiad in "Weapons and military equipment", there were 4 students of the Aircraft Faculty, Department of Gas Dynamic Pulse Devices, majoring in "Ammunition and fuzes": Vasily Litvinov, Maxim Morozov, Vladimir Alekseev and Nikita Ivannikov. In total, about 100 people from all over the country made it to the final stage in this major. Vasily Litvinov became a silver medalist. This indicates a high level of students training. For a silver diploma, he will receive a prize of 200 thousand rubles.
Among the winners, there were also Kristina Antropova and Alexander Yurgin, students of Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering and Technologies Faculty.
NSTU NETI students won one gold, three silver and one bronze diplomas.
Anatoly Guskov, head of the Department of Gas Dynamic Pulse Devices, Aircraft Faculty, was also awarded with the mentor's gratitude for his contribution to the preparation of the silver medalist of the fourth season of the All-Russian Students Olympiad "I am a professional".
Both stages of the Olympiad were held online. The faculty of Bauman Moscow State Technical University prepared the tasks in the major "Weapons and military equipment" together with the leading enterprises of the country; they also gave seminars to prepare the participants and conducted the final stage of the Olympiad.
