On December 3, the 30th birthday of the Business Faculty, a grand opening ceremony was held for the new recreation area in Building 6 of NSTU NETI. Now on the 6th floor, there is a shop-in-shop, intended for recreation, co-creation, and work.
The new coworking space is equipped with comfortable bench sofas, bookcases, and tables.
At the venue opening ceremony, the management of NSTU NETI and friends of the Business Faculty received congratulations and words of gratitude. The importance of the coworking area for productive work and leisure of students has been repeatedly noted.
"Building 6 is the most unusual building at our university," said Marina Khairullina, Doctor of Economics, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Development, Professor of the Business Faculty, "It asks for refining, decorating, making it lighter and more spacious. So that it easier to breathe and more comfortable to work in."
Natalia Ovchinnikova, Dean of the Business Faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Anna Martynovich, the Chairman of the Business Faculty Students' Council, cut the ribbon and launched the work of the coworking zone.
"We are glad that now students have a new space where they can work and create," Natalia Ovchinnikova commented on the opening, "The creation of this venue would not be possible without the participation of our friends and partners. Mikhail Khachaturian, the CEO of Novosibirsk branch of Ernst & Young consulting company, Yulia Shmeleva, Head of HR Department, and Anton Vlasov, the leading specialist of the administrative service, have provided great organizational and financial assistance".
