The photo exhibition "Siberia in gold and silver coins of the Bank of Russia" opened simultaneously at NSTU NETI buildings and in the multimedia historical park "Russia, My History".
The exhibition presents associated with Siberia images of commemorative coins of the Bank of Russia made of precious metals. The gold and silver coins reflect the history and geography of Siberia and the diversity of the animal world of the region. Additionally, the information about coins and some secrets of their minting can be found in the audio guide by scanning the QR code. The exposition is open in the 6th building of NSTU NETI until October 18 and in the multimedia historical park "Russia, My History" (ul.Vasiliya Staroshchuka, 24) until the end of October. The Cultural Center of NSTU NET and the Sports Palace of the university have thematic expositions devoted to the theater and sports. "Magic of the Theater" is dedicated to theatrical art. The exposition consists of images of coins that were minted in honor of great composers, choreographers, actors, and directors. One of the exhibits presents the image of the coin "Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater".
The exhibition "Coins of Glory" tells about great athletes, their achievements and significant sports events of our country. Through commemorative coins, visitors will be able to remember or learn about the records of the legendary goalkeeper Lev Yashin, about the victories of skier Raisa Smetanina at five Olympic Games in a row, about the record-breaking gymnast Larisa Latynina. The images of coins are given along with interesting facts about sports events and photo chronicles. By the way, visitors to the NSTU NET Sports Palace will be the first to see this exhibition in Novosibirsk.
