The X International Research and Practice Conference "Intercultural Communication: Linguistic and Didactic Issues" will be held on March 23–30, 2023.
The conference is organized by the Department of Foreign Languages for the Humanities, NSTU NETI in cooperation with Minsk State Linguistic University, the Central-Kazakhstan Academy (Karaganda), the China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing), and the Xi'an International Studies University (Xi'an, China).
The event will take place at Novosibirsk State Technical University in the format of a remote poster internet conference. Marina Khayrullina, NSTU NETI vice rector for innovation and development and a Doctor of Economics, is the head of the organizing committee.
The conference’s work will include:
- publishing articles, presentations, scientific posters, and video presentations of the participants on the conference’s website and their online discussion;
- online surveys for the participants’ research;
- providing professional development courses in pedagogical design, current problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language, and visualization of information in a digital environment.
The conference's areas of research include:
- Intercultural communication: linguistic aspects;
- Intercultural communication: didactic aspects;
- Translation studies and didactics;
- Digital technologies in intercultural communication, linguistics, translation, teaching first and second languages, Russian as a foreign language, and sign languages.
Following the results of the conference, the proceedings will be published (RSCI indexation and eLibrary publication).
