On Thursday, March 2, 2023, Novosibirsk welcomed a practical conference titled "The Intelligent from the People" aimed at exchanging experience in creating advanced Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. Yaroslav Abzalov, an NSTU NETI student who studies at the Faculty of Aircraft and majors in aircraft and helicopter engineering, became one of the winners in solving technical problems.
"The conference was held by Hi-FLY Company to gather people who understand aviation and attract new specialists to their company. I believe that students need to take part in such events as often as possible because this is a huge opportunity to claim yourself and find employment. Besides, at such conferences, you can get acquainted with representatives of the aircraft industry. You could just come to this conference and listen to the speakers and perform the task that was posted on the event's website in advance," Yaroslav Abzalov said.
A few days before the conference, cases with technical tasks were posted on the website, and anyone could offer their solution to a certain task or problem. The authors of the best solution were announced at the conference. Yaroslav Abzalov completed one of the 15 proposed cases - the development of a chassis for unmanned aerial vehicles - and won a cash prize of 50,000 rubles.
