Our university has a great experience in training students from foreign countries. Over the last 30 years thousands of international students from Germany, Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic), Poland, Bulgaria, Cuba, Vietnam, Mongolia, China, Brazil, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, India, Lithuania, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Ghana, Nigeria and others have graduated from the university and have studied the Russian language.
Within the framework of exchange programs international students from South Korea (Universities of Taejon, Suwon, Kookmin, Seokyeng), from China (Harbin, Dalyan and Shenyang University) can study in NSTU. The University has about 100 agreements on cooperation with foreign universities and production companies around the world.
DAAD information center, Goethe Institute, German and French, Oriental Cultural Centers have been opened on NSTU premises. Students study English, German and French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and have an opportunity to continue their education in England, Germany, France, China, Japan, Korea.
In 2007 the Institute of Confucius was opened at NSTU. In 2009 NSTU became a member of University of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in "Power Engineering" direction of training.
NSTU is coordinating the implementation of the main principles of Bologna declaration. Our graduates are granted European Diploma Supplements and double master degrees with our European partner universities.
