Materials Science and Technology of Engineering Materials / Applied and digital design of new materials
Materials Science and Technology of Engineering Materials
Bachelor’s degree program: 22.03.01 Applied and digital design of new materials
Degree type: Bachelor
Duration: 4 years
Start: September 1
Admission: open
Language : English
Entrance exams: Mathematics, Physics / Computer Science
Description:
The educational program “Applied and digital design of new materials” combines experimental and digital methods of development and research of materials, without which not a single high-tech production or research laboratory can do. By creating this program, we tried to maintain a balance between traditional and modern approaches to the production and analysis of the structure and properties of materials.
Acquired skills:
With us you will learn:
- traditional and modern methods of production and research of different classes of materials (metal alloys, ceramics, polymers, composite materials);
- to evaluate the physical and chemical, and mechanical properties of materials;
- to use programming languages to analyze experimental data;
- to predict the structure of materials using computer modeling methods;
- to control the behavior of materials under various operating conditions;
- to analyze the composition, structure and properties of materials using modern instruments;
- to choose technologies correctly for creating and processing new materials;
- to automate materials processing processes;
- to apply methods of computational materials science to solve applied problems.
