The activities of our graduates are aimed at improving the efficiency and updating the main objects of thermal power engineering: heat power plants and industrial enterprises in the heat power industry. Students studying in this field have the knowledge, skills, and experience to implement highly efficient technological solutions, increase reliability, and improve the environmental performance of heat power facilities. Students participate in a variety of research and technical conferences, forums, symposiums, and competitions; publish the results of their research in Russian and foreign journals; and receive student research grants, scholarships, and prizes.

You've probably heard of internships, which are one of the more interesting activities available at universities. While studying at our program, you begin with an orientation internship in the first year (yes, the first year!). You will become familiar with all of the nuances of our future occupation. Our students can begin practicing at a thermal power plant as early as their second year. Consider being able to completely immerse yourself in your future profession. Graduates of the educational program have the skills of design and production and technological activities at small power facilities, thermal power plants, boiler plants for various purposes, auxiliary heating equipment; they are in demand by leading design, commissioning, research and other industrial enterprises around the world
