Students of the "Main Processes of Chemical Production" profile study the issues of chemistry and chemical technology of materials of various functional purposes, methods and methods of creating new materials widely used in industry: chemical, pharmaceutical, light, etc.
During the theoretical training students also participate in project activities and undergo various types of practical training on the basis of institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and at industrial enterprises of Novosibirsk and the region.
The department annually organizes the International Russian-Kazakh Scientific and Practical Conference “Chemical Technologies of Functional Materials”, and students take an active part, realizing their creative and scientific potential.
