To enter the Russian Federation with a visa issued by a Russian Consulate you should have an official invitation for studying.
While planning your visit to NSTU, please check whether you need a visa to enter Russia.
International students from visa countries can be enrolled to NSTU only under a student visa issued by the NSTU invitation. The list of countries for which there is no visa requirement can be found on the “Study in Russia” website https://studyinrussia.ru/en/life-in-russia/arriving-in-russia/visa/
To receive an official visa invitation from NSTU, please, submit the below-listed documents to the NSTU Center for International Education by admissions@inter.nstu.ru :

The registration fee includes invitation-related expenses, state duty, airport or railway station transfer.
Invitations to Russia are issued by the Migration Service of the Interior Ministry of Russia and take 1 month. Then the invitation for the student visa will be e-mailed to the applicant by an admissions officer from the Center for International Education. You will need the printed copy of the invitation to submit the visa application.
It is highly recommended that you email a scanned copy of your visa and your arrival information (flight schedule) to the NSTU Center for International Education admissions@inter.nstu.ru as soon as you have it!
Education contract is concluded in the Center for International Education upon the applicant’s arrival to NSTU.
