Studies of the research group were supported by grants from RFBR and RFH, as well as research grants within the Federal Targeted Program «Scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia» and the Program of Strategic Development of NSTU. Including:
- NSTU Integration project. 2017. «Eurasian model of integration: traditions, transformation effects and problems of implementation».
- Grant of Russian Foundation for Humanities. 2014–2016. «Influence of macroeconomic policy with monetary and exchange control on the dynamics and structure of the national economy under export commodities orientation and imperfect markets».

- Methodological approaches to the evaluation of the transactional sector of Russia, its productivity in ongoing and reproductive aspects
- Methods of income inequality and poverty evaluation, their application in the field of inequality analysis in the Russian regions
- Features of competition, regulation and innovative markets operation in Russia
- Methods of industrial development evaluation and their application for characterizing the operation of regional development institutions
- Effectiveness evaluation for public procurement in the Russian Federation
- Development and application of effectiveness criteria for legislation design
- Development and application of real options method for effectiveness evaluation of innovative project with venture financing
The research group staff organized the III International scientific conference «Institutional transformation of economy conditions of innovative development» (Russia, Novosibirsk, 24-26 October 2013, NSTU and the IEIE SB RAS as the co-organizers) under the aegis of International Association of Institutional Research and with the participation of Government of Novosibirskaya Oblast (Grant of RFBR). Participants of the research group are the members of the editorlal board of the «ECO» journal (Novosibirsk), as well as «Ideas and Ideals» journal (Novosibirsk), «Journal of Institutional Studies» (Rostov-on-Don), «Journal of Economic Regulation» ( Rostov-on-Don), members of International Association of Institutional Research and members of dissertation councils.
The staff of the research group published 20 monographs, more than 10 textbooks and training manuals, more that 200 articles in leading Russian and foreign scientific journals, including: «Studies on Russian Economic Development», «Russian Journal of Economic Theory», «Voprosy Statistiki», «Economy of Region», «Region: Economics and Sociology», «ECO», Vestnik of NSU», «Vestnik of NSUEM», «Ideas and Ideals», «Journal of Modern competition», «Problems of Modern Economics», «Journal of Institutional Studies», «Journal of Economic Regulation», «Terra Economicus», «Austrian competition journal», «North-East Asia Academic Forum», etc.
