The main educational program is implemented at the Aircraft and Helicopter Engineering Department of the Faculty of Aircraft. The main educational program is developed on the basis of the Federal State Standard of Higher Education taking into account the needs of applicants and students, the labor market needs, traditions and scientific and pedagogical achievements, the results of scientific, practical, methodical, educational work of the university, providing comprehensive training for graduates.
The purpose is a training highly qualified specialists in the field of technical operation small aircraft by developing students' personal qualities, as well as the formation of general cultural (universal, general scientific, instrumental, etc.) and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education. Graduates can continue their studies in postgraduate study.
The professional activity field of a graduate includes solving problems in the ground technical operation of aviation equipment, including pre-flight training of aircraft and engineering and technical support of aircraft flights.
Specialists are in demand at every airport, as well as in aircraft (helicopter) manufacturing associations, aircraft repair plants and airlines, whose management ensures the employment of graduates in highly paid positions.
