This training program is based on the curriculum of "Electric Power Engineering" major (area of study 13.03.02 Electric power engineering and electric equipment), but economic and managerial disciplines are introduced into the curriculum beginning from the second semester (1-2 disciplines in each semester): fundamentals of management theory, business organization, business and management accounting, fundamentals of management and marketing in the electric power industry, taxes and taxation, econometrics, financial management, investment management, planning at an energy enterprise, strategic management in the energy sector, business planning in the energy sector, organization of energy markets.
The economic and management disciplines in the program provide students with a clear understanding of how an energy firm runs. Students gain knowledge in the field of energy economics and basic training in the field of electric power engineering, which improves their capacity to compete in the labor market.
Graduates' knowledge and abilities are in high demand in major, medium, and small energy companies and enterprises (generating, grid, marketing firms, design organizations). The curriculum's economic disciplines enable graduates to apply for careers in organizational and management domains.
