NSTU NETI has launched an additional education program for training specialists in adaptive physical culture for preschoolers.
As part of the program, inclusive education experts will acquaint students with the theoretical foundations of adaptive physical education and the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of children with disabilities. The program will allow pre-school teachers to effectively build physical education programs for children with disabilities and special needs.
"NSTU NETI is a recognized All-Russian expert in the field of inclusive education, who regularly introduces and uses modern technologies and methods of working with people with disabilities and special needs. For more than 10 years, the NSTU NETI’s Institute of Social Technology has been training specialists in adaptive physical education. The Adaptive Physical Education Laboratory has been accumulated a huge experience of teaching children with special needs," said Anastasia Lagerek, head of the Adaptive Physical Education Laboratory of the Center for Inclusive Support of NSTU.
According to her, now preschools have a great need for specialists who know the framework and methodology of adaptive physical education of children with hearing, vision, musculoskeletal system and other disorders.
Reference:According to the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Oblast, there are more than 22 thousand children with disabilities and about 8 thousand children with disability status. Adaptive physical education and adaptive sports are one of the leading factors in the successful socialization of such children.
