From February 16 to March 31, 2022, there is an Olympiad of project works on service, tourism and hospitality aimed at popularizing domestic tourism among young people, college and university students, as well as high school students of grades 7-11.
The objectives of the Olympiad are to attract young people to the implementation of innovative projects for the development and promotion of tourist destinations of the Russian Federation, facilitate domestic tourism, expand youth knowledge about the natural diversity of the country's regions, increase interest in Russia as a great country with a long history, and unleash the creativity in students’ professional activities.
The Olympiad includes the following nominations: "The best project in service industry", "The best route", "The best project in tourism" and "The best project in hospitality".
247 works from 78 regions of the Russian Federation and 14 projects of foreign participants were submitted to the competition.
A team of students of the Faculty of Business majoring in "Management in the tourism and hotel industry" represented NSTU NETI.
The NSTU students' project was "ECO FREE ZONE TOGUCHIN" aimed at the integrated development of tourism in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk Oblast.
The jury highly appreciated the project and awarded the participants of the Olympiad the 1st place in the nomination "The best project in tourism"!
The student team consisted of: Maria Bobrik, Kristina Talanova, Victoria Tafilevich. The Head of the project was Elena Ushakova, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Service. We congratulate the winners of the Olympiad and wish them further success!
