First all-Russian online performance championship semi-final results were announced in Moscow.
138 teams from 55 regions of Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the competition. The teams of companies' representatives from various economical sectors, executive authorities, regional competence centers and universities spent four days managing digital enterprises in a business simulator, developing agricultural machinery and bringing it to the global virtual market.
Experts selected the finalists based on the rating of teams compiled by the business simulator after each of the three rounds. Individual net profit ratios and market positions were also considered. 22 teams made it to the championship finals: ten teams from enterprises and six from universities and state institutions each.
In "University" category NSTU NETI became the leader scoring 361 points. According to Alexey Chuvaev, team leader and associate professor of the Department of Management, such result is no surprise.
"We are a balanced team: analysts as well as specialists with managerial and strategic experience. Some are good at math, some are good at game theory. Therefore, we were initially confident that we will prevail. We feel some kind of satisfaction now. Peaking joy will appear after the final," shared Alexey Chuvaev, who sees the importance and value of the all-Russian productivity championship in the global view of the company. "Such a business simulator is a serious advantage for the system analytics in an enterprise management. It's an opportunity to think again about how to arrange functions in the system," he said.
The finals of the championship are in February 2021. It will be held in Moscow offline. The teams are to be engaged with the business simulator once again to continue the work on their digital businesses.
