From December 4 to 8, a delegation from Novosibirsk State Technical University of NETI, consisting of Daria Borovikova, Head of the Department of Pre-University Education and Recruitment, and Anastasia Ukolova, Marketing Specialist at the Department of International Cooperation, took part in the educational project "Universities of Russia" organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Vietnam.
The aim of this project was to establish cooperation for joint Russian-Vietnamese events in the field of science and education and to attract Vietnamese applicants to study at NSTU NETI.
The visit to Vietnam is the first official foreign visit in many years and was prepared by the Office of International Cooperation within the framework of the program to expand the presence of NSTU NETI in Southeast Asian countries.
The university delegation met with Vladimir Murashkin, Director of the RCSC, the heads of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, and the Russian-Vietnamese Tropical Center. Representatives of NSTU NETI participated in the international press conference "Prospects for interuniversity cooperation".
During the work, meetings with Hanoi State University and Hanoi Polytechnic University proved fruitful. The heads of the KSU and the delegation of the NSTU NETI discussed the possibilities of implementing joint projects in the field of energy and, teaching Vietnamese students priority technical areas for Vietnam and Russian. Representatives of Hanoi Polytechnic University were interested in implementing joint educational programs, internships for students and teachers, academic mobility programs, and a consortium with the participation of NSTU NETI. Following the meeting, representatives of the universities identified the stages of work in these areas.
In the second part of the program, the delegates of NSTU NETI met with the heads and students of specialized schools named after him. Nguyen Hue, named after Nguyen Chai, director of the Chan Fu Special School and the Hanoi-Amsterdam School. The parties discussed the possibilities of internships, summer and winter schools, and courses, identified the needs and trajectories of applicants, and conducted some career guidance events for students, where they discussed the possibilities of obtaining higher education at NSTU NETI within the framework of the state quota.
The readiness of the Vietnamese side to implement joint educational projects and participate in the Russian Universities project allowed our university to establish close contacts with representatives of educational organizations in Vietnam and outline ways of long-term cooperation.
