From December 11 to 15, the All-Russian Student Forum "Your Move" was held in Moscow. More than two thousand participants from 80 regions of our country gathered at the event to discuss youth policy and educational work and celebrate the achievements of the most active representatives of the student body.
In her welcoming speech to the participants, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Olga Viktorovna Petrova noted that "we admire and take pride in our student community, i.e. the guys who came to the forum. They are really cool, energetic, and ambitious; they know exactly what the next move will be for them." The forum brought together many events not only for students, but also for those who help them realize their opportunities. To share experience and knowledge, the largest educational institutions in the country held master classes and lectures for participants. The entertainment part of the event included a show program, ceremonies, and a visit to the international exhibition and forum "Russia" at VDNH.
As part of the event, the results of the third season of the All-Russian competition "Your Move" were summed up and the names of 200 winners of the track "Doing" were announced. The finalists included Violetta Vedernikova with the project "Time for the Energy of Life", which is dedicated to the prevention of extremism and substance abuse (team members — Natalia Ismailova, Mikhail Tupitsin), and the winners from the Institute of Social Technologies of NSTU were as follows:
Alina Babina with the project "Inclusive Competencies", aimed at increasing the level of employment among people with disabilities and those aged from16 to 30 through the acquisition of knowledge and skills of passing selection tests for employment, as well as the development of soft skills (team member is Evgenia Khitrikova, the mentor is Tatyana Pavlovna Mozgovaya);
Victoria Deriglazova with the project "Timer: a bilingual club of communication in the Russian and Russian sign language" — a club with four directions for communication between hearing people and people with hearing impairments (team members are Alexandra Baus, Alexander Shets, the mentor is Inna Valeryevna Zhdanova).
The winners received a cash prize of 1 million rubles and an invitation to the World Youth Festival. The winning teams will be able to participate in the "More than a Journey" program.
"I was most impressed by the scale of the forum: everything was very spectacular and interactive. The opening ceremony occurred at the VDNKH skating rink, and Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin held a master class for us. There were many invited stars. The received cash prize will be directed to the development of our project "Inclusive Competencies", — Alina Babina commented on her victory.
As Inna Valeryevna Zhdanova, Deputy Head of the Department of Social Work and Social Anthropology of NSTU NETI, noted, the projects created by NSTU NETI students adequately represent our university and the region both in terms of ideas and social significance, and in terms of the quality of implementation. "Our guys have been winning for the second year in a row, and they don't plan to stop there: they have many ideas, strength, and motivation," she added.
