The graduate of the Institute of Social Technology (Department of Decorative and Applied Arts) Maria Lazarenko won a bronze medal at the Nineteenth Youth Delphic Games of Russia in the category "Art Craft / Art Pottery".
Maria Lazarenko graduated from the Institute of Social Technology in 2019 majoring in "Decorative and Applied Art and Folk Craft". Now she is a second-year student of the Institute of Arts of NSPU. She works with pottery; she has organized her own pottery workshop and has great experience working with various pottery studios in our city.

The Nineteenth Delphic youth games of Russia were dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945. It was included in the Plan of major events for the Year of memory and glory in the Russian Federation in 2020, approved by Anton Vaino, the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation on October 18th, 2019. The International Delphic Committee and the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO held the Delphic Youth Games 2020.
1,706 people in delegations from 72 regions of the Russian Federation took part in these games. The jury consisted of about 100 outstanding figures including Honored artists and art workers of Russia, professors and art history doctors. There were 30 categories of classical, folk and contemporary art to compete. Most categories were divided into 2 or 3 age range. In total, competitors received 76 sets of medals.
