Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI opens "Boiling Point", the specialized teamwork site located on the territory of the University aimed at bringing together representatives of education, science, business and government. "Boiling Point" site will give Novosibirsk students and University staff the opportunities to experiment with approaches to their own educational activities, such as introducing new educational formats and implementing new communication models in education. The main goal of these changes is to increase the country's human capital quality.
The priority areas of NSTU "Boiling Point" work will be the development of competencies within the National Technological Initiative (NTI) in Novosibirsk: EnrgyNet, AutoNET, AeroNET, TechNET, as well as promoting start-up projects in NTI markets, material based technologies and the industries digital transformation.
"Boiling Point" at Novosibirsk State Technical University will also be aimed at developing the urban area near NSTU project, with the view of 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship being held in Novosibirsk.
The work of the university "Boiling Points" focuses on the formation of students and teachers learning pathways, so that they could quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills using the "University 2035" platform and the resources of their own University to participate in NTI projects. Universities are assumed to share educational content within the network interaction with other university "Boiling Points".
NSTU NETI "Boiling Point" was opened with the support of ANO "NTI Platform" and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
The series of events devoted to the opening of NSTU NETI "Boiling Point" will start with the "University quarters" festival which presents innovative educational and cultural projects that are already being implemented or will soon be implemented in Novosibirsk. These include the Atomic Energy Information Center (GC "Rosatom"), the federal network of robotics clubs "League of Robots", "WOW Museum" project, children's Technopark "Quantorium", graffiti festival "Science Graphite", "Technomuseum" (NSTU NETI project in collaboration with Novosibirsk city administration) and the project of Sukhoi Su-24 bomber installation at NSTU NETI campus. The official events devoted to the opening of NSTU NETI "Boiling Point" will be held at the Network Student Business Incubator (ul. Bluchera, 32) from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The guests will hear the video address of Dmitry Peskov, ANO "NTI Platform" Director General (10:45) and Vasily Tretyakov, Director General of ANO "University 2035" . The opening ceremony will be attended by Sergey Fedorchuk, the Minister of Education of Novosibirsk Oblast (presumably at 13:30). Representatives of the Novosibirsk Oblast administration, as well as heads of development institutes of the region, rectors and students of Novosibirsk universities will also take part in the official opening events of NSTU NETI "Boiling Point".
NSTU NETI "Boiling Point" opening will be concluded with interactive activities for high school students. The platforms presentation of Atomic Energy Information Center (GC "Rosatom"), the Federal network of robotics clubs "League of Robots" and the "WOW Museum" project will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the site of "Garage" Network Business Incubator (ul. Bluchera 32).

The urban "Points" are considered to be the classic format of "Boiling Points". The first co-working facilities were opened in Moscow in 2013. In 2016, the first "Boiling Point" outside Moscow was opened in St. Petersburg, then in Ivanovo. Today "Boiling Points" work in 23 cities. Two new formats are launched in 2019: university and international "Boiling Points".
