News Agency "Rossiya Segodnya" and "Social Navigator" published a ranking of demand for engineering universities in 2019.
NSTU NETI maintained last year's position in the top twenty universities, ahead of many leading universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, including participants of the project NRU (National Research Universities), and was mentioned in the RIA Novosti's review "10 universities with graduates in demand".
According to the indicator "Percentage of employed graduates", our university is in the top five with 100 points. In total, 10 out of 125 participants of the rating received 100 points in that indicator. Only three universities are ahead of NSTU NETI: MIPT, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and Korolev Samara National Research University. The criteria for evaluating universities were:
· graduates employability. This criterion evaluates the employers demand for the graduates, such as request for the graduates from potential employers, including contracts for targeted training;· the demand for university research and development by the real economy sector. This criterion is measured by the university's income from the implementation of scientific and technical developments, design work, business promotion and support and educational programs of vocational education and training;
· academic relevance of research and development results reported in scientific publications can be measured by the citation index.
