Novosibirsk State Technical University will start Aviators' square on its territory by the end of the year. The square will become a part of the campus park created at the expense of the endowment fund.
The NSTU NETI endowment fund is replenished with donations from university graduates. This is the most transparent charity tool, with contributions and donations working for the development of education, science, and engineering innovations. The fund is intended to support breakthrough research of young scientists, implement the developments of NSTU NET scientists into production, provide internships of talented students and postgraduates, purchase new experimental equipment, and create a modern campus.
"We want to create a campus with parks. So far, we have the Aviators' Square. In the autumn, NSTU NETI graduates helped to deliver and install the Su-24 aircraft. But our task is to make the university the center of attraction for the entire left bank of Novosibirsk. There are so few parks and squares in our city, especially on the left bank! We want any citizen of Novosibirsk to be able to come with children and relax in this park. It seems to me that the first donations of the formed endowment fund could be used for these purposes. For example, for lighting, a work-out area, multi-level benches, or platforms for expositions. The landscape design of the park will be unique, nothing can compare to it on the left bank," said Zoya Sergeeva, executive director of the NSTU NET Endowment Fund.
In the future, innovative facilities of our own design will appear on the campus of NSTU NETI at the expense of the fund: stations for fast charging of electric vehicles, renewable energy facilities, assistant robots as well as virtual and augmented reality stands.
According to Zoya Sergeeva, the capital generated by the fund is completely transparent and each donor can trace all financial transactions. The endowment fund allows NSTU NETI to become even more competitive among other universities and qualify for participation in major federal programs of the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Russian Federation. Anyone can donate to the endowment of the university.
"Last year we were looking for donors at the university, and now we are ready to offer Novosibirsk residents to participate in the fund formation. I am sure that our endowment can be successful because it is an honor to become a donor of the foundation, although in Russian reality charity is often associated with alms... So, it's time to change consciousness!" Zoya Sergeeva added.
Anatoly Bataev and Nikolai Pustovoy, the rectors of NSTU, Veniamin Pak, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region, Alexandr Abalakov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of F1 Group, Petr Dobrynin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novosibirsk Cartridge Plant and other graduates of the university have already become the donors of our endowment fund. Partnership with NSTU NETI will enable the fund's participants to receive priority access to the university's research and developments as well as best students and researchers. Such corporate social responsibility will strengthen both the NSTU NETI's and your business reputation, and therefore we take care of information support and positive positioning among graduates and partners, in the media and social networks.
It's easy to become the endowment fund donor: just go to the page Endowment on the NSTU NETI portal.
