The project of the children's technopark Kvantorium is carried out at Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI.
The planned launch of the technopark premises in 2020 was postponed because of the pandemic. However, the Kvartorium program is already working: more than 200 students enrolled in courses of information technology are studying IT, robotics, work with quadrocopters and augmented reality technologies in the building of the Novosibirsk Aviation Training Center.
"At the moment, repair work is carried out in the building of the children's technopark Kvantorium. The work is to be completed in March 2021", said Sergey Fedorchuk, the Minister of Education of Novosibirsl Oblast.
Children's technoparks Kvantorium are sites with high-tech equipment, aimed at training highly qualified engineering personnel, developing, testing and implementing innovative technologies and ideas.
The Kvantorium consists of five thematic zones: IT class, electronics, industrial design, coworking areas, and rooms where tools for cutting and grinding materials are located. NSTU NETI provides students with opportunities to design models of unmanned vehicles, engage in robotics, aircraft modeling, create satellite models, as well as work with interactive maps of the area using images from space.
Reference: A of the end of 2020, 89 children's technoparks are actively working in 62 regions of the Russian Federation. The national project" Education" makes provisions for creating 345 mobile Kvantoriums in all regions of the country.
