The high-tech developments of NSTU NETI engineers will be presented at the "TECHNOPROM-2019" forum within the venture fair: smart water purification system, video analytics system of labor safety and Smart-module for baby stroller.
The smart water purification system is a complex of sensors, a controller and water purification equipment, combined to work under control of specialized software. The complex allows creating of autonomous self-controlled water purification systems. This system is able to automatically regulate the mode of operation depending on the changed working conditions, and is capable of self-diagnosing and identifying the need for routine operations, based on the real condition, not recommendations. Moreover, this system does not need operating personnel. The main field of this system's application is the food enterprises' wastewater purification as well as fish and seafood farms. The system was developed by the engineers of the small innovative "Siberian water technologies" LLC enterprise, based at NSTU NETI, together with the researchers of the Chemistry Department (NSTU).
The vision system of labor safety is another important development of NSTU NETI personnel. At present mathematical and algorithmic software has been developed which allows to automatically control personal protection devices, based on the results of the video content's analysis. The main consumers of this system are big companies, holdings and corporations with specialized departments and services to address the labor safety matters of a large number of employees.
“There are strict requirements for labor safety regulations at industries and facilities with hazardous production conditions. The hazardous industrial areas are equipped with video surveillance and video recording systems. A human operator controls the process through video streams in real time mode. But when there are many cameras this mode of control becomes ineffective since human abilities to visually monitor are limited. And it may lead to physical injuries and human losses. The use of automatic smart video analytics can significantly improve the quality of labor safety», — says the leader of the software development team, the head of the Automated control systems department of NSTU NETI, Candidate of Science (Eng.) Ivan Tomilov.
At the TECHOPROM venue, there will also be a separate stall of NSTU NETI, where other inventions of the university researchers and engineers are to be presented. They include the developments for the EnergyNET and TechNET markets, performed with leading enterprises of the Russian Federation; a frequency converter for autonomous aircraft power generation system, which was designed to supply power to on-board equipment in the event of an emergency shutdown of the main power supply system, was created together with "SEVER" company (Novosibirsk) and "AKB Yakor" LLC (Moscow); the air conditioning unit for spacecraft DC power systems; the automatic reactive compensator of power (ARCP), which is a modern complex solution to the problem of low-quality electricity in the networks of any objects resulted from transformer overloading, increasing power losses, accelerated ageing of the equipment.
The hardware and software complex "Sensor of ozone concentration" developed jointly with "Siberian Water Technologies LLC" will also be presented at the NSTU NETI exhibition display. Operating together with the ozonizer produced by this company, it can autonomously maintain the desired concentration of ozone, thereby achieving more effective air purification at houses or offices, and if necessary maintaine a sterile environment. An informative business programme of TechnoProm will be held not only at the Expocentre's venues, but also at the "Boiling Point" site at Novosibirsk State Technical University. The main topics for discussion are the issues of energy development, as well as the problems of educating the specialists and integration of training and practice. Business incubators, student startups, compliance of University graduates' competencies with the labor market demands — NSTU NETI has accumulated a lot of experience in these and other areas and the University staff is ready to share it. Also on the agenda of "TechnoProm": signing of several agreements, including Technet and AKIT — the establishment of the competence center FIPS with the SPBSTU.
