Last week, the third stage of Smart Electron School Accelerator was held at SBI «Garage». The organizers were SBI «Garage» (Business Faculty) and School of Electronics SumOm (Radio Engineering and Electronics Faculty).
The participants got acquainted with the tools for designing startup marketing and verifying the viability of their startup ideas, and tested hypotheses regarding the target segment. The gamification techniques used in the third stage allowed the participants to try themselves as engineers creating a prototype of the product, as well as evaluate the sales opportunities of the developed product. Among the projects implemented by the participants of the School Accelerator, there are the ones aimed at solving the problems of the modern city (“smart” trash bins), using plasma technologies in medicine, smart watches for schools, specialized stands for Physics classes, a laser measuring device, electronic cribs, etc.
Now school teams will be engaged in the technical development of their product for the next 6 weeks. Ahead of them are “startup packaging”, a master class in pitching, preparing a presentation for investors, as well as a school startup fair.
