The impressive presentation of the Center was held during the round table session “Ecological trends of technological breakthrough in nano and hi-tech industries’. Andrey Tzoi, the director of NSTU-based Regional Center for Regulatory and Technical Support of Innovations, which was launched with financial support of the Fund of Infrastructure and Educational programs of Rusnano, presented a complex of services for innovative companies. The center offers services in innovation standardization, certification, metrological and personnel support.
After the round table discussions the representatives of the Center and Standardization Department of the Fund of Infrastructure and Educational programs of Rusnano met representatives of innovative companies to discuss their problems and analyze the needs for regulatory-technical resources for commercialization of innovative products.
Igor Sorokin, the Development Director of the Company ‘Zavod ‘Ekran’ spoke about the production of glass containers with hardening coating made of single-walled carbon nanotube produced by the OCSiAl Company. The application of coating raises glass wear-resistance and reduces resource consumption in the production process. The production costs of the new product do not exceed the production costs of traditionally made glass containers. To commercialize the new product the company needs assistance in updating standardization documentation for glass containers.
Roman Rybakov, the Director of the Company ‘Advanced Growing Systems’, demonstrated state-of-the-art hydroponic systems for growing plants with LED-based lighting of a given wave length and extended operation life. He also expressed the need for assistance in product certification to commercialize it on the market of greenhouse business.
Alexander Krainov, the Vice-director on research of Special Design and Engineering Bureau «Katalizator», confirmed the company’s need for complex regulatory and technical support by the Fund of Infrastructure and Educational programs of Rusnano in providing standards for the line of nanostructured catalysts. He also specified company’s interests to take part in competition for obtaining quality mark “Russian Nanotechnological Product’.
After the Forum the concerned parties visited the “Estorsys’ company where Anton Potapenko, the Technology Director, demonstrated the company’s projects on electrical energy storage with Li-Ion batteries and explained their characteristics specified by the sphere of application and safety requirements. Anton stressed the importance of cooperation with the Fund of Infrastructure and Educational programs of Rusnano in developing regulatory basis in the sphere of energy storage and proved the need for certification of the energy storage systems for gas production enterprises.
As a result of the meetings the representatives of the Fund of Infrastructure and Educational programs of Rusnano and the Regional Center agreed to start the process of regulatory and technical support of innovative nanoindustrial products for the purposes of businesses of Novosibirsk region
