Dear faculty, staff, and students of NSTU NETI. We are celebrating the day of NSTU NETI!
Though this year we can not celebrate the birthday of our University with traditional festivities, I am sure we will make up for it in the autumn, at the celebration of the 70th anniversary of NSTU NETI! Gifts are customary for a birthday, and we have them, despite the restrictions caused by self-isolation. The main building of the University is being renovated, and the special area for study and creative work has been completed in Building 5. I believe that there should be many such places at the University and we intend to work towards it. Over time, such modern and stylish spots where you can study, as well as gather for rehearsals, brainstorming and just networking, will appear not only inside the buildings, but also on the University campus.
Last year, students came up with an art object, a gazebo in the form of a new NSTU NETI logo. This illuminated gazebo was another gift for the anniversary: it has already been set up on the campus and is waiting for students to return here. I am sure that the distinction diplomas in the hands of our graduates, as well as the new Candidates and Doctors of Science certificates will look especially impressive against this background.
Happy birthday, our dear NSTU NETI ! We hope for a warm reunion soon!
Anatoly Bataev, NSTU NETI Rector
