Our city got into the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest growing city-millionaire. It was founded in 1893 as a small village, and received the status of the city only 10 years later. One million of citizens was reached in mere 60 years after that. The history even has the birth date of the millionth resident —September, 2, 1962.
