A graduate of the Institute of Social Technologies of NSTU NETI has developed a mobile application for urban quests and interactive excursions. With its help, it will be possible to have an interesting and informative time. This is an actual project for the Novosibirsk region, because now a lot of attention is paid to the development and support of domestic tourism.
"I like to explore the city, and during my student period I lacked affordable entertainment, the opportunity to listen to an audio guide or an audio performance in the "here and now" format. The initial idea was about urban leisure, then eco-trails were added to the project. There was an idea to establish contact with the parks and squares of Novosibirsk in order to work out this topic. There are many natural places not far from Novosibirsk, a walk through which will be an exciting adventure," said Daria Pritula, developer of the POGORODU mobile application.
According to her, the application is not just an aggregator of the leisure part, it is a small marketplace for developers of tourist routes. Any creator will be able to post his own version of leisure activities, and the user will be able to buy it. In addition, with the help of a mobile application, you can develop your own quest: mark points on the map, come up with tasks and complete them in order to achieve the final goal.
"For students who have moved to Novosibirsk and want to get to know the city, we offer a route through the center, during which we will introduce the children to the main architects of Novosibirsk, to places where young people gather, show interesting institutions. This route is currently under development. We have friends who are engaged in constructivism. Together with them, we are developing several routes dedicated to this topic. We will talk about the features and values of the architectural style, we will find examples of constructivist architecture in the city. The mobile application for downloading will be free, but in the application, the distributors who download the content set their price for the leisure offered," Daria Pritula added.
A graduate of NSTU NETI received a grant of one million rubles for her development at the Student Startup competition. Now there are several basic audio courses in the mobile application. The device has not yet gone into mass consumption, it will take 2-3 months to finalize it. In the wake of the popularity of domestic tourism, the mobile application has every chance to become an excellent platform for city quests, audio tours and other formats of urban leisure for citizens and tourists.
