From October 9 to 11, the Novosibirsk Region hosted for the first time the final of the All-Russian network competition of student projects "Professional Tomorrow" with the participation of students with disabilities. This year, the participants were hosted by Novosibirsk State Technical University (NETI).
The inclusive student competition has been held since 2018 by a network of resource educational and methodological centers for the education of people with disabilities and people with disabilities in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The 2024 competition was held in two stages: correspondence and full-time. Students from 178 Russian universities from 71 regions took part in the competition. The universities that submitted the largest number of applications included NSTU-NETI, Pacific State University (Khabarovsk), North Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol), State University of Management (Moscow), Moscow State Technical University named after N. E. Bauman. 115 participants entered the face-to-face stage.
Within the framework of the three-day program, the Institute of Social Technologies of NSTU-NETI held the defense of competitive works that passed the face-to-face stage. The students' works were presented in six categories: "Professionally oriented project", "Scientific article", "Useful invention", "Professional startup", "Social advertising and inclusive blogging", as well as "Social Project". A cultural, leisure and educational program was also provided for the contestants, including field trips around Novosibirsk, master classes and motivational lectures. Throughout all the competition days, the participants were accompanied by volunteer students of NSTU-NETI. Mentors of the contestants and representatives of the RMC network took part in a business program dedicated to the development of higher inclusive education.
The closing of the competition and the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the Professional Tomorrow competition took place on October 11 at the State Concert Hall named after Katz.
Valentina Dudnikova, Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, made a welcoming speech: "For seven years, the competition sites have become communication platforms, an expert community, and most importantly, an opportunity for the development, acquisition of professional skills and competencies of young people. Not only the history of the profession is very important here, but also the history of finding oneself. After all, thanks to the project and your participation in it, everyone finds their own individual development trajectory. For me, the value of this competition lies in an inclusive culture, because inclusive culture is a special state of society when we are not just tolerant or polite to each other, most importantly, we recognize that the value of everyone is the success and common victory of our society. On behalf of the governor, let me thank all the participants, all representatives of the regions and the organizers — the team of Novosibirsk State Technical University."
Olga Lavrova, Head of the Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the competition, the resource educational and methodological center of Novosibirsk State Technical University for creating comfortable conditions for participants to reveal their talents, and the team of experts for a professional assessment of the participants' work. "Your success is the result of your hard work, talent and energy. I wish that your most daring proposals were implemented and your tomorrow was kind and necessarily professional," she addressed the participants of the competition.
Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, welcomed the participants of the event in an online format: "When we combine our efforts, we are driven by a common goal — to create development opportunities for each student, to create the same trajectory of professional and life path. Thanks to the guys for offering their initiatives, and we will continue to help them, and together we will succeed!"

And finally, the long-awaited moment came: the names of the winners of the competition in six nominations were announced from the stage.

the 2nd place — Anastasia Goloburdo (Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafiev);
the 3rd place — Andrey Nestyak, Konstantin Samuilov, Yulia Ibragimova (Russian State University of Social Technologies).
Winners in the nomination "Useful invention" are:
the 1st place — Artem Bondarenko, Anton Burkin, Nikita Marin (Ufa University of Science and Technology);
the 2nd place — Elena Bobysheva (Volgograd State Medical University);
the 3rd place — Denis Kuyanov, Polina Krivosheeva, Dina Savenkova (Moscow State Technical University named after N. E. Bauman).
Winners in the Scientific Article nomination are:
the 1st place — Maxim Malinin, Anastasia Malinina, Natalia Davydova (Cherepovets State University);
the 2nd place — Lilia Zabirova (Tyumen State University);
the 3rd place — Marina Berezina, Chelyabinsk State University.
A special prize of the competition for the relevance of the topic of a scientific article was awarded to Mikhail Pomogalov, a student of Luhansk State University named after Vladimir Dahl.

the 1st place — Arina Boriskina (Novosibirsk State Technical University of NETI);
the 2nd place —Anna Tymchishina, Sofya Izarova, Milana Khasanova (Novosibirsk State Technical University (NETI);
the 3rd place Alexander Lukke (Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University).
Separately, the expert commission awarded a special prize to Nyurgun Syromyatnikov (Northeastern Federal University named after M. K. Ammosov).
The winners in the "Professional Startup" nomination are:
the 1st place — Veronika Zeiter, Polina Sayapina, Anastasia Pyzhyanova (Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University);
the 2nd place — Polina Sayapina (Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University);
