Vladislav Dudarev, a first-year student of Novosibirsk State Technical University (AUTF), won the championship of the Siberian Federal District in classical chess among boys under 19 and qualified for the Russian Youth Championship from the SFD.
The athlete scored 8 points: he won 7 games out of 9 and finished two in a draw. The tournament was held in Barnaul from October 31 to November 9.
32 athletes from 10 regions took part in the competition: Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Kemerovo regions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai Territories, the Republics of Khakassia, Altai, Tyva.
Vladislav is a candidate for the master of sports in chess, is a member of the national team of NSTU-NETI, the champion of the "League of applicants of NSTU 2024" in the individual competition, the winner of the freshman tournament. As part of the university team, he took part in the Russian team championships in Sochi in the spring and autumn of 2024.
Vladislav Dudarev trains under the guidance of international grandmaster Andrey Belozerov, and Alexey Dolgov oversees his training within the framework of NSTU-NETI.
