Coming to Novosibirsk for college was a great decision that has had a huge positive impact in my life, both professionally and personally. I was part of the first group of Cuban students that came to NSTU (then called NETI) to study in 1979. In the summer of 1984, we graduated from the ASU faculty, which was then led by Prof. A. S. Vostrikov. After more than 35 years of professional experience, I can say without any doubt that the education we received was outstanding, both in volume and depth, in theory and practic. My wife (also a NETI graduate) and I are very grateful to all our teachers and support personnel for the great education and life experiences we gained, that have allowed us to thrive professionally in such different places as Cuba, Spain, and the USA (California).

Hello! My name is Han Bo. I came to NSTU in 2012 as a Chinese language teacher. During my work, I talked a lot with the teachers of NSTU, and I really liked them. Therefore, I decided to stay at NSTU and entered the magistracy. It was the right choice that I never regret. The study, of course, was interesting, but I ran into certain problems, because I was studying in another specialty in my bachelor's degree. But it doesn't matter. Our wonderful and kind teachers helped me a lot in mastering completely new knowledge for me. Only high-level professionals work at NSTU.

Thanks to all the teachers, not only for giving me knowledge and opening up new horizons for me, but also for teaching me to think differently, which helps a lot in my current work. I teach Chinese, and in this way I would like to make my modest contribution to the further development of the university and to the strengthening of friendship between the peoples of our countries. I wish my beloved and respected teachers health and well-being in everything, and prosperity to my native NSTU university!

大家好，我是韩波。2012年作为汉语教师来到新西伯利亚国立技术大学。工作期间经常与学校的各位老师交流，他们给我留下了非常好的印象。任期结束后，决定留校读研。这个决定，我从来没有后悔过。学习生活非常充实，但也遇到了一些问题。跨专业读研并非那么容易。然而，这并不可怕，我们的老师都很有耐心、非常热心，在我学习这些对我来说是全新的知识的过程中给我了很大的帮助。新技大的老师，真的是非常专业。在此，我想对所有老师说句谢谢：感谢老师们的倾囊相授、为我开拓视野，也感谢老师们让我学会用另一种角度思考问题。这一切都让我在目前的汉语教学工作中受益匪浅。我也希望能通过汉语教学为母校未来的发展以及两国人民友谊的巩固尽一份绵薄之力。祝愿敬爱的老师们身体健康、万事如意！也祝愿母校欣欣向荣！

I am an international development professional, with over 10 years of experience in the United Nations and the Russian foreign service. I am also a proud graduate of the NSTU/TSU International Relations Specialization, which was key in my professional success.

I started my career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, followed by a five-year tenure as a diplomat of the Permanent Mission of Russia to the United Nations in New York, specializing in health, climate change, international migration and other socio-economic issues. I then became an independent consultant, working with various organizations of the United Nations system, including the UN Population Division, Financing for Development Office, United Nations Population Fund, and the World Bank Group. I have been living in New York since 2005 but visit Novosibirsk regularly, and the NSTU faculty have always held a special place in my heart.

From the Central Gobi aimag of Mongolia, I entered NETI and studied there from 1983 to 1987, and thanks to outstanding scientists, teachers, I graduated from the institute with the profession of automated control systems enegineer.

The academic knowledge,Iacquired at the institute and those years that I lived in Novosibirsk , are the most important in my life. After graduation, I worked for 7 years in the Secretariat of the Parliament of Mongolia. In 2016 and 2020, I was twice elected as a deputy of the Great People's Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia. Also, I am the president of the NETI alumni community in Mongolia. Every year we hold various events and meetings among the alumni. NETI is an excellent institution and the pride of all Mongolian graduates. It was Novosibirsk with all the nice conditions for students, where I spent my young, unforgettable university years. We, graduates of NETI, will alway continue to work for the good and development of our homeland.

My name is Deaa Harb, I'm from Syria. I was honored to have studied at this prestigious university from 2000 to 2005 in the field of literary sciences and graduated with distinction in the specialization of social, cultural and tourism services. The years of study were full of perseverance and follow-up with my dear colleagues, and we had a group of respected teachers and I was honored to study under the supervision of all of them. And in the very cold city weather, we would feel warm in the university, as if we were one family.

كان لي الشرف أني درست في هذه الجامعة المرموقة منذ عام 2000 إلى عام 2005 في مجال العلوم الأدبية وتخرجت بدرجة إمتياز في إختصاص الخدمات الإجتماعية والثقافية والسياحية ، كانت سنوات الدراسة حافلة بالمثابرة والمتابعة مع زملائي الأعزاء ، وكان لدينا مجموعة من المدرسين المحترمين وتشرفت بالدراسة تحت إشرافهم جميعا، وفي طقس المدينة البارد جدا كنا نشعر بالدفئ في الجامعة كما لو كنا عائلة واحدة.

When I entered the university I didn’t know Russian at all. But the responsible work of teachers helped to start the language learning. It was difficult , though, and there is still a lot to learn. Many thanks to the teachers for the good presentation of the material and the individual approach to each student.

Hello, I am Jorge Adrian Hernández Piña, Lic. In Stomatology with a specialty in Orthodontics, Mexican and I'm 35 years old. I am currently studying my second year of Russian Language at Novosibirsk State University of Technology. My experience at the university has been excellent, with highly qualified teachers and study program that helps you master the language quickly, participating in a pleasant and multicultural environment that not only allows you to learn the language, but also helps you to know part of the history and culture of this great country. A year ago I did not know Russian at all. Then teachers taught me the alphabet. The Russian language was difficult but beautiful. I will never forget how the teacher said "Very interesting ...".

In my opinion, the Russian language course at this university is really great and thorough. The teachers are excellent, talented and friendly. They constantly conducted many practical classes for us to improve our language knowledge like, for example, singing Russian songs, visiting museums.

During the distance learning our teachers made a great job preparing materials, sending them to us, correcting our homework. Therefore, I think this course was very convenient and well organized for learning a new language from the basic level.

High-quality education! During my studies here I met the best teachers who were explaining everything very clearly and taking care of their students. I really liked everything and am very grateful for that. It was a little difficult for us to do distance learning , but still it was great and we were able to study and have fun!!

Russia is the first foreign country which I visited in my life. Until today I visited already more than 20 countries usually with business trip. I have three doctor titles: Dr.Ing. Habil from Germany, PhD from Russia and Doctor of honors from NSTU. I am currently living with my husband and two children in Germany. I work at Chemnitz University of Technology as Guest Professor and Senior Researcher. Earn more than 4000 euro monthly.

How could a workers’ daughter achieve this kind of life?

After graduating my high school with golden medal of successful study of 10 years I had a great opportunity to select any professional in any country without any entry exams. This was a special offer for learners who has Golden medal. I choose Russia and study direction was Electronic Computing Machines

At that time (1987) words such as Computer Science and Personal Computer were not widely known as today. By choosing my profession I got the opportunity to study at NETI for five years.

The fundament of my successful career and life is the graduation at NETI in 1992. Due to the education at NETI I could start my career as an assistant lecturer at Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Deep knowledge on theory and great abilities with practical skills I could solve many professional problems during my career successfully. I am always thankful to professors of NETI for their excellent teaching and leading me in science later for my PhD as well.

The Novosibirsk is a great city and is located at the center of Siberia, Russia. Five years of my student life successfully spent in my city: Novosibirsk. I very much like Novosibirsk. Every time when return to Novosibirsk, I see how the city is developing and the life changing for the better.

To be part of Novosibirsk city and to hear lectures from NETI professors is one of the best choice of modern young people.

10-н жилийн сургуулиа төгссөн жилээ би, дуртай мэргэжлээрээ хүссэн улсдаа очиж сурах боломжийг сонгох эрхтэй болов. Энэ нь тухайн жил дунд сургуулиа Алтан медальтай төгссөн сурагчдад олгосон онцгой эрх, боломж байсан билээ. Би Орост сурахаар ЭВМ буюу Тооцон бодох электрон машин мэргэжлийг сонгосон.

Тэр цагт буюу 1987 онд Компьютерийн шинжлэх ухаан, персональ компьютер гэсэн үг хэллэг өнөөдрийнх шиг өргөн хэрэглэгдэж танигдаагүй байсан юм. ЭВМ мэргэжил сонгосны дүнд би НЭТИ гэх сайхан сургуульд таван жил сурах эрхийг олж авсан.

Өнөөдрийн энэ амжилтанд хүрэх замнал 1992 онд НЭТИ-г төгссөнөөр эхэлсэн. Сургуулиа төгсөөд эх орондоо эргэн ирээд Монгол Улсын Техникийн Их Сургуульд дагалдан багшаар ажиллах боломжийг НЭТИ төгссөн диплом минь надад нээж өгсөн. Ажил амьдралын он жилүүдэд учирч байсан мэргэжлийн болоод хувийн асуудлуудыг би НЭТИ-д сурч байхдаа олж авсан онолын гүн бат мэдлэг, мэргэжлийн дадлага туршлагын ачаар амжилттай шийдвэрлэж байлаа.
