The object (mission) of the educational program
The mission of this educational program is to train masters capable of conducting research professional activities, which is determined by trends in the regional development of theoretical and experimental research in the field of aerohydrodynamics of aircraft for various purposes.

Characteristics of the educational program
Distinctive features of the educational program are:
- Consideration of the regional labor market requirements, the state and prospects of development of branches of science and technology related to hydroaerodynamics.
- Training of specialists on "phystech system", which consists in involving the students, starting from the first semester, in real scientific research under the guidance of leading experts of basic enterprises of the department - in the S.A. Khristianovich Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and S.A. Chaplygin Siberian Research Institute of Aviation.
